Position Held: Lead Engineer / Project Lead

Go.Driver is a comprehensive truck dispatching platform designed to deliver fast, seamless, and organized communication between fleet dispatch managers and their professional drivers.

Developed over the course of more than a year in close collaboration with two trucking companies, the software was built to address real-world operational challenges from the ground up. Its core features include coordinated real-time load dispatching, secure encrypted messaging, and customizable digital form submissions to streamline daily workflows.

Go.Driver also features a robust OpenAPI multi-tenant architecture, enabling quick and straightforward integration with third-party trucking companies and a wide range of Transportation Management System (TMS) platforms.

Led a team of three developers in designing and delivering a client-facing kiosk-mode tablet application alongside a companion web platform that transformed the residential leasing experience. Built a seamless scheduling system that allowed prospective renters to book showings anytime, eliminating manual coordination, unanswered inquiries, and broker scheduling conflicts.

Architected a secure, self-guided access solution enabling approved renters to enter properties without an agent present. Both the tablet and web applications were fully integrated with in-home security systems to manage authenticated entry and exit events, as well as video monitoring during showings to ensure safety and accountability.

Delivered a scalable, automation-driven leasing platform that reduced vacancy time and operational overhead for property managers and landlords while providing renters with flexible, on-demand access to homes on their schedule.

I contributed to the product for over eight years, starting at its inception and helping shape its technical direction, architecture, and feature roadmap through multiple stages of growth.

Additionally, for more than three years, I led the development of maintenance and feature updates. I helped design and deliver a trucking-optimized mapping and navigation system and built a proprietary real-time messaging platform to support driver engagement and community interaction. I also contributed to the implementation of gamification features, such as badges, to increase engagement and retention.

Over an eight-year period, I helped build and maintain a social media platform focused on creating digital “memories” through customized image cards for families and children. These custom cards allowed users to generate 1:1 ratio images with text in various formats overlaid on photos or custom backgrounds. The final images could then be shared with other users, similar to platforms like Instagram or Facebook.

I led product maintenance for this product for over four years, and played a key role in transforming the core image generation engine into a scalable, shareable SDK that could be leveraged by other third-party companies.

AM Tech was a proprietary tax preparation platform developed for a Kansas City–based accounting firm. The software enabled clients and internal accounting teams to securely manage document uploads, track workflows, and complete electronic signatures through DocuSign. The platform provided an integrated client collaboration experience similar to solutions such as TaxDome.

MHC Kenworth is a truck sales, financing, and parts company. Over a four-year period, we built a Shopify store to manage and sell over 30,000 parts, alongside a proprietary logistics app that allowed drivers, shipment managers, and receivables teams to track parts shipments nationwide. The solution integrated with their internal load management systems and was successfully deployed on both the Google Play and Apple App Stores.
